EnvironEnergy's Waranlinc Wheel with SPEGG (Semi-Perpetual Electrical Gravitational Generator)

Young group of scientists has designed a wheel that supposedly uses gravity and the kinetic force of spinning arms and firing bullets to generate output torque that can be tapped for work.  Working proof-of-concept claimed.

CAUTION

C A U T I O N :
Prototype unveiling supposedly happened on Oct. 27, 2004.  PES Network Inc. was invited and had a correspondent available to attend.  SPEGG did not return emails or phone calls from the correspondent for final arrangements (e.g. destination and time).  We are cautioning that this company may be fraudulent, and the claim to a demo is false.

A Google news search comes up nil for this event.  If they did do such a demo -- to which they said they would be inviting members of the press -- and their demo was successful, then there would be coverage in the news.

Names of 8000 group dubious at best

"I did a bit of Google searching on the names listed on the 8000 group About Page http://www.enencom.biz/about_us.htm

"The results were suspicious to say the least. I could find no concrete references anywhere on the web to any of these actual people (using the job titles as a guideline for a match). There were however different people with the same name (presumably) for many of the middle-eastern-sounding names. Two of these were involved in violent crimes (one in the UK and so this may be an actual match), one worked for the World Bank as an expert on South Asia and another was a name commonly used in a Nigerian-email-type scam originating from Iraq. Another one turned up several duplicates who work in various scientific fields at universities in the US (biology I think).

"It seems odd that I could find no concrete references to any of these people (other than on the Environ site itself), and of the matches I did find many were of a highly dubious nature. As an aside, one thing I find very suspicious about their site is the complete lack of any photos whatsoever."

    Dear Mr. Allan:

I finally received a response from the 8000 Group in London.  A representative, "Ms. S. Jackson", e-mailed me and said that the new launch date for the Wheel is Nov. 20, 2006, at the Business Design Centre in London. (slightly over a year from now) She says I am welcome to attend. She says the initial announcement was a mistake, as they still had more R&D to do at that time. She didn't say whether they are still in R&D or not, but at least gave a launch date. The e-mail was a bit strange. It contains several noticeable grammatical errors, as if the person writing it was not a native speaker, yet the name is English.

Sterling,

This company is real and well financed. They will give a demo in London within the next few months. They offer systems ranging from 10KW to 2GW!!.

Young guys in their late twenties. Very complex mechanically, but believe me it works.

The 10KW model is small and can be coupled to give 30KW to power a home.

This is real. They have signed contracts with India and Bangladesh govts.

It is a beautiful device and its apparent external simplicity belies its internal complexity.

The Bessler Wheel lives. Watch this company!

Sterling,

The Waranlinc Wheel is the brainchild of Courtney Bailey. It was developed over an eight year period 1996 to present. Bailey filed a string of British Patent Applications for the wheel and its subsystems. These applications occurred in 2000, 2001 and 2003.

The wheel uses stainless steel external sliders which are a linear air compressor pump used to charge the internal tanks which fire the internal pnuematic guns. These internal guns fire the stainless steel bullets. The high mass of the wheel and the high overbalance mass generate the massive torque of the wheel. This massive torque times the slow RPM results in huge horsepower at low rpms. The Kilowatt outputs available for the different sizes are all based on well known mechanical engineering equations. The entire Waranlinc wheel and its external and internal subsystems are a synthesis of mechanical and pnuematic technologies. It is in essence a rotating air rifle using an offset mass overbalance to achieve constant rotation.

Using the animated engineering drawings from the site  and data from the Patent Applications, a mechanical engineering analysis was done by software . The claims on the site are legitimate. There is no hidden physics here. Pure mechanical and pnuematic engineering. The level of physics involved in this device are at the high school level basic mechanical simple machine level. That is the beauty of it. It is an elegant simple machine that is mechanically complex. This is why they call it a Semi-Perpetual machine. It will break. It will need periodic maintenance.

I have no business relationship with this company at all. I have sent them a recent e-mail  which has not been responded to yet. Their site does not indicate what size SPEGG will be demonstrated in London  or any specific date - refers to a time frame of shortly. Additionally, the site does not state what size devices are going to be contractually produced for the governments of India and Bangladesh.

You may post anything I send to you . I appreciate your years of service to the free energy cause.

Regards,

Doug Derbes

The whole bit about the pneumatic compressor/gun system
raises so many red flags that I would have to bet that the
SPEGG uses "Keely technology", i.e. a hidden compressed gas
cannister in the base of the demo unit.

I'm guessing that this will be a very successful demo, in the
sense that the SPEGG inventors will bring it out, it will turn
for a couple of hours (at a safe distance from the audience,
of course - can't let anyone examine it up close), and people
with more money than good sense will write their checks to
Environ Energy.

The SPEGG will never generate a joule of free energy, but I
have no doubt it has the potential to generate quite a bit
of "free money" for its creators. One thing about free
energy scams: they never disappear; they just get recycled.
