I see problems with their attempt to build Viktor Schauberger's suction turbine. If you look closely at the pictures that are provided at your site, the turbine parts that he shows are not of the right geometry. The spiral pipes that he has built must have One and a Half turns starting from the inlet at the top of the turbine down to the nozzles. The inner passage way that flows the water in the turbine must also represent the shape of the egg in a constant rotation down to the outlet of the pipe. This inner egg shape pipe rotation must also be One and a Half turns from start to finish, with an indent on one side of the smaller end of the egg shape. Their turbine in the picture does not show this, it only shows not even a 1/4 rotation, which will allow their device not manifest the effect they are trying to reach. They will have to go back and redo their turbine to represent the shape of the egg internally in the passage way with 1 and 1/2 rotation, and the same 1 1/2 rotation for the spiral pipes them selves from inlet to outlet. I also put into question the materials of choice, use copper as the material to construct the spiral suction turbine, or the trout motor. NO PLASTICS. This is the way to get fluid to flow with zero internal friction., do this and you will get a vertical take off machine. The flying saucer. The flowing medium needs to breath. If you do not let the fluid medium breath, it will have all the resistance as if it were flowing through normal water pipes. With out these important modifications, their device will only sit there and look pretty. I do applaud their attempts. Sincerely Follow-up Comment by MathewFrom: "mathew whitney" <omegawatt@yahoo.com> Sterling, Thank you for displaying my work on your site and even getting some peer review for me. I need to clarify some things however. The photos Hank sent you are of a mock-up which was rapid prototyped using stereolithography, the photoreactive resin is far too brittle to be used for dynamic prototypes, I didn't know this when I was offered the chance to build it. It started as a prototype but I had to compromise the design because the software CTS had and time restraints wouldn't allow for the original design, also as mentioned I'm very poor and my daughter was on the way. I must insist that you check out my original design, an animated virtual prototype, which can be found here: http://www.iamhe.net/CLIT.htm and provide this link, also be sure to have the fella who reviewed my photos sees this as well, he will see that my original bulbous stator fulfills the requirements he mentioned, whereas the mock-up's funnel shaped stator does not. Thank you for your time and efforts. M.G. Whitney See also
